Tonight, I was driving home from the boyfriend's place and I saw a mass of stuff on the road and a long wiggly thing, withering around and I thought that it might've been a snake. HOWEVER, IT WAS A CAT THAT HAD ITS PAWS SQUISHED TO THE ROAD AND IT WAS WAVING ITS TAIL AROUND FRANTICALLY TRYING TO GET AWAY.. but failing miserably..!!!! Poor kitty :<

City Beach thief and ONE DAY SALE!!

Had work yesterday on ladies floor - doing the change rooms. It's a fairly easy job, u ask them how many items they have, take their clothes from them, pick a number, pat the clothes down and give them the change room.

I did just that to some asian girl, AND DAMN WAS THE POCKETS OF THE BOARDIES BULGY!! I pulled out a pair of bikinis!! and she was like "How did that get in there? Some people are so devious". I'm like meh yeah whatever, go change and she goes, "So can I try those on?" *Points to the bikini* I'm Like "oh hell no n****, these aren't tagged, go grab another one." (NB. slightly exxagerated). So she goes and grabs the same style of bikini as the one she tried to steal...and I grab a colleague of mine and told her I found some untagged bikini in the boardies she wanted to try on...so she goes up to the girl and asks her if she put them in and she lied and said no.. anyhoos she told me she'll get one of the boardies and handed the other one back to me...but I was watching her..she didnt head towards the counter...she put the boardies back on the shelf!! DODGEY!!!!!! The Floor manager came and was lookin for her, but she had left and the Floor manager said I did a good job on catching a thief and she'll tell the boss! ^^; weee~ that's my story of the day...

On another note, ONE DAY SALE AT CITY BEACH ON SATURDAY SO COME COME COME!! i'm not working so weeee~ probably see what there is :D:D:D working on friday night to put up signs and stuff, so i'll keep u updated!

I bought a new dress from city beach - my current casual job! I WANT SO MANY THINGS FROM THERE!!! This is me and subu at the dinner table.
Yen, being the random girl she is, BOUGhT A RABBIT MEAL!!! OMGGG THAT'S DISGUSTING!!! I love my rabbits...so i refused to have any!! ew ew ewww!
Me, on the other hand, decided to have my Seafood Medly - patagonian toothfish, prawns & scallops and capsicum salad. All our meals were rather small and I finished my dinner for once!


This is the Bday Girl :D Sweet 18....WE GOT FREE CAKE!!! we were discussing - the next time we have dinner, just say it's someone's bday and u'll get a free cake Lol.

First of all, Happy Birthday to Yen!! She turns a big 1-9 today!! weee~

Weif chucked a BBQ last night and it was a good fun!! was a great little gathering ! Happy B'day to her on the 20th of September :D

Went to Sunday market on Sunday (oh gosh) and i bought a BABOOSHKA!!! I've always wanted one of them :D aren't they just so awesome? Lady told us it's originally called MAMOOSHKA or something like that...and it means mother and they are meant to be in the shape of a mother- nice and plump which represents a healthy and happy woman.

I also found a little fake goldfishes which is Perrrfectt for me because all the goldfishes I've ever owned are now dead... so with these new friends, I don't have to feed them or worry about them floating upside-down the next day due to unknown circumstances :D !! weee~ the perfect pet!

Also, on Sunday morning, me and Rob went to play golf, just the driving range and it's our first time and guess what we did... WE BROKE THE ONLY CLUB WE BROUGHT WITH US .... yeahh...excellent. Other than that it was great fun :) would love to play again.

Haven't Beaded for sooo long and got back into it on Sunday :) What do you think of my creations?? Was thinking of making heaps and selling em' but not sure how'd that go... maybe make a website or something..

SCRUBS!

OMG SCRUBS!!

This week I went to Sir Charles Gairdener for clinical orientation. BASICALLY, observe what radiographers do for one whole week! BUT IT HAS BEEN FUN! i gotta take some x-rays by myself, like hands and wrists and fingers coz I haven't learnt much but I got taught some easy ones like feet and chest which I will be learnin later this semester!! I getta call the patient in, take their x-ray and upload em', get em' checkd by radiographer and send the patient back :D

TODAY I WENT INTO THEATRE AND SAW A SURGEON PUT IN A DYNAMIC HIP SCREW
IN THIS LADY!! HELL AWESOME!! THEY CUT HER LEG OPEN AND WIPED THE BLOOD AND HELD THE SKIN OPEN WITH SOME CLAMPS! AND STARTED DRILLIN THIS PLATE IN AND LATER THE SCREWS!! ^^ and then it was stitched up and ta daa new hips! The lady woke up halfway and was like
"What are you guys doing?"
Doc: "Oh we're just putting a screw into your bone"
Lady: "Oh I can feel the vibrations"

haha it was all very surreal and felt like something outta greys anatomy! I gotta wear teal scrubs weeee~~ i want a pair! and a shower cap and mask and lead apron and some neck thingo :) .. loads of fun.

Other things I've seen so far is CTs and Ultrasound and portable machines, pretty rad (ha.ha.)

WEnt to the intensive care unit and there was this guy that was HUGEEEEEEEEEE!!! like whoa! took like 5 guys to try and roll him over onto his side :D.

Healthy Foods vs. Fast Food

I had like $5.50 on me and I'm walking around the food court in garbo AND I CAN'T AFFORD ANYTHING BESIDES MACCAS!

It's ridiculous, they're trying to promote healthy food yet fast food seem to be a billion times cheaper. It's like, yeah i wanna eat healthy...DAMN LOOK AT THE PRICE ...hellooo maccas!
And the price of water!!!! COKE IS CHEAPER! i refuse to pay a lot of money for a bottle of water, that's just plain stupid...

Even the healthy foods on maccas menus are expensive. (and rumour has it, the salads there contains more calories than a normal burger)

AND FAST FOOD SUCKS ME IN WITH THEIR LIL KICK-ASS STUPID TOYS THAT ARE TOTALLY USELESS BUT I WANT THEM ANYWAYS!! Especially Macca's Happy Meal :) which is what I had for lunch today.
