All I want for Christmas..

..is to eat chocolates at the beach!

It's that time of the year, setting up the Christmas tree! I bought some new rainbow tinsel with stars for my mini Christmas tree and replaced my handmade sequined star with a bright pink star ornament! Used my old blue baubles and bought some new clip-on butterflies to brighten up the tree! I used some jewellery gift boxes as mini presents for my mini tree and santa bear is protecting the presents.

I've added more decorations to the tree and I got a present from Tina! Went to Ikea yesterday and bought a toy rat for Snowflake. There are battery operated candles on the side which are great, it even flickers like a real flame.

Christmas in Perth begins

Ahhh.. two exams down, one to go! The next one being on next Thursday, I decided to celebrate the finishing of my two exams by heading to the city for some night shopping. Little did we know, the "Turning on the Christmas Lights" was on that night and Santa came strolling down the streets of Forrest Chase on his sleigh pulled my reindeers following a bunch of fairy ladies and the SUPER HOT GORGEOUS MEGAN GALE!!! (Proudly sponsored by David Jones) Yes, that's right, I saw a supermodel! woOt!

There was 100,000 lights and Christmas decorations (same ones as every year) up and about as well as a 13metre tall Christmas tree with 750 decorations. The pedestrian bridge on Murray Street had a gigantic red bow on it so go and check it out, the decorations will stick around until January 6th.

I must say I was rather disappointed when I went up to the balloon man in front of David Jones asking for a balloon he replied with "Sorry, we only give it out to little kids". DAMN YOU BALLOON MAN!! I'm a kid at heart :P

I had pictures taken on Robbie's phone, but he can't find his cables, so no piccies today!

Tree is up

Christmas is near and I suppose it is time to get into the christmas spirit, so I went to the nearest Red Dot store to purchase my oh so lovely christmas tree! I didn't want anything dramatically big and the tube that the tree came in looked like a reasonable size, however as I unpacked the tree, I realised IT WAS FUGIN TINY!!! I was thinking...this tree is pathetically small, but I decided to decorate it anyways and place it on woodstove. Yes, thats right I HAVE A CHIMNEY so santa can climb down my chimney and hand me my presents!! mUAHuahhahha... though it'd have to be a rather skinny santa. I heard they might change the way santa looked because he portrayed a rather unhealthy character which I think is a shame.. a skinny santa is never gonna pull it off.

Ahh...for those of youse that read KarenChengs Blogs, DO YOU LIKE MY LAYOUT!? hahaha...inspirational indeed^^, coincidently my xmas tree came with my favourite colored decos, blue tinsels and baubles. All it was missing was a star, so I awoken out the creativity beast sleeping within and got out the artsy crafty stuff and made my own homemade star! ISN'T IS BEAUTIFUL!?!
Christmas is followed by the new year, which means new years resolutions! What's your new years resolution??
